What this site loads

Every asset on this website — fonts, stylesheets, scripts, images — is served from the same origin as the page you are reading. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no social media embeds and no content delivery networks. Opening this site does not tell any third party that you did.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies at all. Two browser storage keys may be written, both purely for your own convenience:

  • ot_lang in localStorage — remembers which interface language pill you selected.
  • ot_submission in sessionStorage — holds a short summary of a form you just submitted, so the thank-you page can show your reference number. It is discarded when you close the tab.

Neither is transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser storage removes both with no loss of function.

Form submissions

Three forms on this site collect data: the project enquiry form, the volunteer application, and the newsletter sign-up. We collect only the fields shown, we use them only to reply to you or send the digest you asked for, and we do not sell, rent or share them with anyone outside the collective.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask for one.

Translation data

Translation memories and glossaries created during client work belong to the client. Public contributions to open source language teams are, by their nature, public: your name and the strings you translated appear in repositories and release notes. We will remove your name from our own site on request, but we cannot rewrite the history of a repository we do not control.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the previous version stays available on request. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
