Hello,
I'm new to transifex, but I have a pretty good idea of how it works and I have a lot of experience with joomla. I'm currently a candidate for becoming certified translator of the Ordre de Traducteurs du Québec, and I want to contribute to the translations first of all because I love joomla, I want to contribute as part of my candidacy mentorship program (that means that all the translations I do will be reviewed by my mentor, so a double benefit for you) and I have to translate a minumum of 5000 words per month so, you can count on me!

I translate to Latin American Spanish. I would do the translations as coordinator of either the Spanish Ecuador or the Bolivian teams, and after I complete the translations, I dont think there's need for other Spanish Latin American language, since it would pretty much be the same, unless some localization is needed.

To start with, I would like to start by translating the following:
Joomla Quiz Deluxe 3.1.2
Flash Magazine

Thanks a lot and please let me know if this is the way to proceed, I have not found much information on how to offer a language.

Hello Herta,

Welcome to OpenTranslators! You are definitely on the right track. I see you've joined Transifex and applied to join the Spanish (Bolivian) and Spanish (Ecuador) teams. You have been made coordinator of both teams. That means nothing stops you from starting to translate!

To start translating, simply select the project and start translating. You can start on any project you want, and translate as much (or as little) as you want.
